A look behind the scenes of a commissioned stationery project designed around friendship, community, and connection.
The project began with illustrating different drawings, exploring colour combinations and testing what worked best together as a set.
With the final designs approved and sent to print, it was so nice to see the artwork finally come together as a finished stationery collection.
Looking back, what made this even more exciting was seeing the illustrations move beyond the screen and become something people could hold, use, and treasure.
Not every illustration made it into the final deliverables, but each played a part in building the warm and welcoming feel the client was looking for.
And just like that, my first commission became a finished collection of bookmarks and notebooks, created to be shared, gifted, and enjoyed.
